Patek Philippe
Aquanaut
Patek Philippe's benchmark sports watch — the steel Aquanaut 5167A on its Tropical strap, 2016 full set.
On this piece
The Aquanaut 5167A-001 is Patek Philippe's benchmark sport-luxury watch — introduced in 2007 for the collection's 10th anniversary and still part of the current lineup today. Its rounded-octagon case, embossed black dial, and signature Tropical rubber strap have made it one of the most requested references in the brand's modern catalogue. The watch is powered by Patek Philippe's self-winding Caliber 324 S C, beating at 28,800 vph with a 35–45 hour power reserve and finished to Patek Philippe Seal standards — visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The stainless steel case retains its rounded-octagon silhouette, a design language shared with the Nautilus, paired with the durable "Tropical" strap developed specifically to resist salt water, UV exposure, and daily wear. The black embossed dial and applied gold numerals give the piece strong legibility and depth on the wrist. This 5167A-001 remains part of Patek Philippe's current collection, sold exclusively on the rubber strap since the bracelet variant (5167/1A-001) was discontinued in 2025.
